Dr. Madhulika Guhathakurtha is an American astrophysicist and scientist with NASA’s Heliophysics Science Division. She was the lead program scientist for NASA’s Living With a Star initiative and serves as program scientist on the Solar Dynamics Observatory (SDO), Van Allen Probes, and Solar Terrestrial Relations Observatory (STEREO) missions.

She has primarily worked on earthquakes and their source mechanisms. She has worked extensively on earthquake patterns in India and is considered to be one of the pioneers in this field.

Sachidanand Sinha is the President (2023-24) of the Institute of Indian Geographers, Pune and a visiting Professor at the Impact and Policy Research Institute, New Delhi. He was a Professor of Social Geography and Regional Development Studies taught at the Centre for the Study of Regional Development, JNU, New Delhi from 1988 to 2022.

Dr. Sajin Kumar K.S. is an Assistant Professor in Geology, University of Kerala.He completed PhD in 2005 from IIT Bombay (‘Geoinformatics in landslide risk assessment and management in parts of Western Ghats, Central Kerala, India’). He joined Geological Survey of India, worked in engineering geology projects and did landslide studies in Himalaya and Western Ghats. He is also an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Geological and Mining Engineering and Sciences, Michigan Technological University, USA.

Dr.S.Sreekumar,currently works as disaster risk reduction expert in Kerala institute of local administration,kila,thrissur.He was the faculty in the Department of Geology and environmental sciences,Christ college, affiliated to University of Calicut.He was the director of Integrated Rural Technology Centre,Palakkad from 2018-2021.He is the member of advisory committee on landslides,KSDMA.His area of interests include environment and related studies and he had been a resource person (UNDP-GOI) and coordinator for disaster management (UGC) in the past.

Topic : Geochemistry: A tool to decipher the earth’s tectonic processes

Dr. Anil Kumar holds a Ph.D from IIT Bombay in Metamorphic Petrology on the topic entitled Metamorphic Evolution of Ultrahigh-temperature Granulites around Karur, Tamil Nadu. He has worked for six and a half years (since 2010) as Geologist/Senior Geologist in the Geological Survey of India.

Praveen Kumar is the director of Geo Marine Solutions Pvt Ltd, an MoM approved  Private Exploration Agency, and the former Director-Marine & Coastal Surveys ,GSI. He had 23 years of experience in GSI for Mineral exploration in Land and Ocean, marine mapping, and marine geophysical surveys.

Shri. A. C. Dinesh is currently working as CTO, Geo Marine Solutions Pvt. Ltd., engaged in planning and coordinating offshore and onshore mineral exploration programs in India and abroad. He is the former Director of  Geological Survey of India.

Prof. Morten P. Meldal is a Danish chemist and Nobel laureate who was awarded the 2022 Nobel Prize in Chemistry, jointly with Carolyn R. Bertozzi and Karl Barry Sharpless, “for the development of click chemistry and bioorthogonal chemistry”. He is a professor of chemistry at the University of Copenhagen Denmark.
