An international gathering of notable scientists and science communicators will be given
a platform to discuss their research, share ideas and engage in meaningful dialogue.
This intellectual exchange of ideas is made available to the public, creating
a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to interact with such luminaries.
GSFK includes lectures by personalities from diverse professions, providing an opportunity to listen and learn from them.
Public lectures on science, art, culture, politics, literature, film, and gaming will be held at the festival pavilion and in select few institutions across kerala. every lecture will be live-streamed on all major social media platforms.
Programmes and seminars will be planned concurrently at esteemed institutions nation-wide to catalyze independent science festivals and encourage a culture of scientific curiosity. As a part of the festival, various Outreach programmes are conducted in association with the Government of Kerala and multiple NGO’s.
There will be a special focus in reaching out to disabled children and innovative programmes such as science mobile will be executed.
GSFK presents the public with a unique challenge; interact with creative research issues, conduct experiments, and gather data to validate them. The event engages with scientific thinking outside the parameters of conventional research. Citizens and students, in particular, are given the golden opportunity to pick a topic and engage with it deeply using scientific methods. They can then showcase their results as a part of the festival.
The festival includes a section devoted to exhibiting
advancements in art through science. This event aims to
alter how the general public views science by
demonstrating its importance in developing art. It will
comprehensively showcase modern and experimental
music, film, and visual artworks.
The placement of evocative street installations will promote a city-wide awareness of the sciences. The exhibits will use technology such as 3D mapping to communicate fundamental scientific concepts.
Notable individuals such as Nobel laureates and their contributions to science will be highlighted through these displays.
